My favourite primers cheap to expensive

Hello lovelies sorry about the lack of blogs lately ive been very busy with work and some issues but i shall be getting on top of things and back to posting every day to every other!

So to get back on track thought id show you my favourite primers which go from cheap to expensive!

To start with are my cheap drug store primers.....  which are by the brand MUA (makeup academy)  starting with the first one in my picture is my eyeshadow primer this is a great base for eyeshadows or even a base to cover the redness on the eyelids. I dont wear alot of eyeshadow but on a night out i use this with my eyeshadow and it will stay creaseless for ages! Id recommend trying this if you dont like spending to much money.
For my face primers i have the fixing mist and the matte perfect primer these again are great if you dont want to spend alot of money but get a decent product that works! So after i use the matte perfect primer which is great for a oily skin like mine i apply my foundation and then spritz a little bit of the face mist over my face just to help set everything this helps make my face powder look less cloggy aswell!

I really like the MUA range as its so affordable and your getting a decent product which is a bonus so id defiantly   recommend trying this range especially as its good for a oily skin type you can get  in your nearest superdrug stores.

Next is the more exspensive primers which are both good for oily skin types....

Firstly is the prime time oil control primer by bareminerals this is costly but works really well specially with foundation i have a very oily t-zone and this helps to soak up excess oil and leaves a clear weightless feel on the skin to give my foundation a smooth matte finish this is the perfect primer for if you have a oily skin type id defiantly be repurchasing this again.

Lastly is the pores no more pore refiner by dr brandt this primer is amazing and is one of my top primers even though its pricey its worth every penny. This primer comes out orange but blends in clear leaving the whole face looking shine free  helping to smooth out any scarring you may have so when you apply your foundation your face looks flawless with a airbrushed finish.

If you cant afford spending out on this primer the MUA matte perfect is the best dupe ive come across as you can see on the left is matte perfect and on the right is pores no more very similar in feel and colour and is alot cheaper!

Prices...
MUA
Eye primer £1.50
Matte perfect £4.00
Fixing mist £5.00
Bareminerals prime time £18.90
Dr brandt pore refiner £39.00

New hair before and after using garnier nutrisse!

Hey everyone i am sorry for the lack of blogs over then weekend I have been busy testing products to review and also buying bits and bobs to show you  but I'm back on track now! So I thought I'd start by telling you about my hair dye experience...

So the other day I bought a hair dye as I wanted to go darker as my hair is a light brown as you can see in the picture to the left and thought I'd like a change and go a little darker and I'm loving it this kit was so easy to use and cheap. I got my mum to do it as I can no way dye my own hair without making a absolute mess of it. In the kit you get a pair of gloves, hair colourant,  conditioner, bottle pump and of course instructions! With this kit you apply the colourant to dry hair to the whole of the head starting from the top and work your way down if you have very long hair I'd advise buying two boxes of this as one wasn't really enough for mine. I like the fact this wasn't very messy at all as it come out the bottle as foam instead of messy liquid I got the colour in dark brown as I didn't want a colour with a red tinge. It's only takes half hour and you can rinse it off make sure you apply the conditioner after as colouring your hair can make it feel abit dry.

Price: £5.99
Where to purchase: www superdrug.com

NARS sheer glow dupe!

Hey lovely people.... I found a dupe of one of my favourite foundations which is the nars sheer glow foundation I love this but not the price tag specially as I use foundation everyday for the job I'm in as I'm a beauty therapist so I get through bottles very quickly and can get very pricey.

So i went out shopping the other day in my favourite shop superdrug and was looking at foundations for ages and Came across this one by l'oreal infallible 24H which is defiantly a dupe for nars sheer glow. I struggle to find foundations for my oily skin but After using this for a few days I noticed that the texture and feel of this foundation on the skin looked amazing and didnt leave me shiny just a healthy glow,  both of these foundation would be suitable for all skin types and they both have very buildable coverage to I find just one layer with a brush is fine on my skin but if you wanted full coverage it would do it perfectly. The colour range is very close to the nars colours apart from the colour I got as I'm tanned at the moment so went darker but to the left is nars and to the right is infallible not to much of a big difference. I highly recommend trying my dupe if the nars is out your price range.

Colour;
colour of the nars is in light4
colour of l'oreal infallible is in 140 golden beige

Prices;
Nars price; £31.00
L'oreal price; £9.99

Where to purchase;

Hope you liked this post and try my dupe you won't be disappointed or if you know of any other dupes for pricey foundations let me know in the comments below remember to follow my twitter, Instagram and bloglovin for all updates.

Nuxe glitter oil!

Nuxe multi purpose dry oil with a shimmer is for the face, body or hair this stuff is amazing I only use it for special occasions or nights out but this leaves you looking all shimmery with a golden glow as you can tell from the picture below once rubbed into the skin it only leaves a subtle shimmer. The places I put this are mainly through my hair or on my chest area as to much will make you look like a walking disco ball and we dont want that! This tiny bottle doesn't come cheap though for 50ml it is £21.00 you can get this same oil without the shimmer but I thought the shimmer seemed the better one to get! I'd defiantly recommend to buy if your into your shimmer was worth the money you can purchase this from
www.nuxe.com 50ml £21.00 100ml £34.00
www.marksandspencers.com 50ml £21.00 100ml £42.00

My morning skin care routine...

Hey everyone thought I'd put a second post up as I didn't post yesterday due to being busy very sorry... But anyways this is about my morning skincare routine I shall do a night routine in a separate blog!

Let's get started so to begin with I shower every morning which every person does! I hope..
So while I let my hair air dry for a bit I go into the bathroom and
proceed with my morning routine for my skin.

My 5 step morning skin routine...

firstly after I do a daily face scrub in the shower  I cleanse my face with my garnier micellar cleansing water I pour a bit onto two cotton pads
and wipe all over my face throughly making sure there is no dirt left on my skin once I'm satisfied that my skin is squeaky clean I then move onto my second step.

Secondly I do a eye cleanse using my l'oreal eye makeup remover I don't know why I use a eye cleanser as well seeing as my first cleanser removes eye makeup but I like to make sure there's nothing left on my eyelashes so I do exactly the same as my first cleanser and pour a bit
onto two cotton pads and wipe over my eyelashes.

Thirdly I apply my garnier moisture match mattifying fresh face cream all over the face in upward strokes. I might add I pick this up the other day as I was looking for a new moisturiser for oily skin and I'm loving it it's a light whipped cream that feels fresh and mattifying on the skin and does absorb my oiliness very well this creams suitable for oily to combo skin and I defiantly recommend it!

Fourthly I then apply my snake venom eye cream by balance active formula under my eyes to help make them look less puffy in the morning and of course to stop those wrinkles appearing I gently tap this on starting from the inner to
the outer corner.

And lastly once I've done everything I then apply my bareminerals prime time oil control primer all over my face to create a smooth oil free base for my makeup to sit on especially foundation.

I hope you liked this blog and if you would like to know more about any of the products mentioned comment below and I can give answers or even review for you make sure to follow me on bloglovin, Instagram or Twitter links are in the side bar x

My haircare favourite shampoo and conditioner!

So i thought i would share with you my current shampoo and conditioner i am using this month!

For my shampoo i am currently using phil smith WOW brunette colour illuminating shampoo. For the glossy glowing colour it has black tea extract this can be used for  natural, coloured or highlighted hair which is good! So you dont have to have dyed hair to use this. The reason i got
this was for the lovely scent it has to it and also foams up really well in my hair as my hair is quite thick and very long. I find some shampoos dont foam up very well in my hair but this one does the job i havent noticed a colour change but have noticed it does leave me hair very shiny which is good leaving it looking very healthy so if you have long, thickish hair id recommend to try this.
They do this shampoo in a blonde aswell which is called bombshell where to purchase...
www.sainsburys.co.uk price £2.33

For my conditioner i am using argan oil ive been using this for a week now and really like it ive only been putting it on my ends not all over my hair as conditioners can make your hair look greasy and we dont want that. It has moroccan argan oil extracts to rejuvenate and rehydrate the hair leaving the hair looking healthy and alot more shinier. You can leave this in the hair for 3-5 mins as a mask or rinse straight out im loving the scent too leaves your hair
smelling lovely.

I purchased this bargin from poundsavers believe it or not for a price of.... £1.00 I defiantly   recommend going into one near you and purchasing!

Hope you liked this post if so follow me on bloglovin , Instagram or twitter much appreciated or leave comments down below see you in my next post x
