The Perfect Valentine gifts.

Hey everyone so today I've been in London doing some shopping and of course had to pop into Harrods! picked up a few amazing purchases which would be great gifts for you Girlys from your lovely otherhalfs! That's if they know your taste and have a chance to step foot into Harrods.

So to start off with i went straight to the Mac counter as you do! And went straight to the lipsticks as I really do love their lipsticks there staying power is amazing and colour range. I've been looking for the perfect red and picked up lady danger as you can see in the picture above! I can't wait to try this out with makeup looks! I feel I could wear this lipstick everyday without it being to out there! The price was £15.50 from Harrods.

Next I went up to the shoe heaven bit in Harrods to look at their amazing shoes,  and came across the Christian louboutins section and their was an amazing stand full of nail vanishes! And I just had to grab one! So I got the one in rouge which is their famous colour for their shoes , I fell in love I did try before I purchased and this gel nail varnish went on so smoothly it was defiantly worth the money of £36.00 I know that's a lot for a nail varnish but you are paying for the quality and name of course , the packaging is stunning aswelll very eye catching which it defiantly caught mine! One you can keep forever as the bottle is just to pretty!

These are perfect Valentine gifts seeing as I have a red theme going on for you girls! Even if it's a gift for yourself why not treat yourself! If you liked this post follow my blog or Instagram on Laurenpearceyyy or Twitter @pearceyyylauren for updates daily!

Bobbi brown foundation update!

Hey everyone sorry iv missed a few posts this week been so busy as per usual I can't complain! Anyways... I thought I'd update you on my foundation I've recently purchased, as you all know from reading my blog I have oily skin and find it a nightmare to find a foundation that actually works so as I've never tried bobbi brown before I thought I'd give them ago! So I went to the makeup counter and asked what would suit me as a oily skin type and the lovely girl said the compact foundation is great and is sweat/humidity proof, I gave it ago for a couple of days and didn't really get along with it I was still getting oily and I did find it abit thick ,  it felt as if I had a mask on which I didn't like! I think if you had a combination skin type this would Work fine for you and if you like heavy coverage then I'd say defiantly try this! But for an very oily skin type id stay away. The price of this one was £33.00 from John Lewis

I went back to John Lewis to the bobbi brown counter and I'm now going to try this one which is a lighter formula so maybe will work Better for me I'm off to London tomorro so we shall see if I get oily at all. The lady who helped me was very good and matched my skin perfectly , made me feel much better about my skin nicest thing was that if this one doesn't work out for me I can swap for a different one I will then opt for a powder foundation instead but fingers crossed this works out! This one was a little cheaper at £31.00

If your like me and have a nightmare finding foundations for oily skins comment below and tell me what brand you would use , Or think would be great id love to hear from you. Follow me on Instagram at Laurenpearceyyy or my Twitter @pearceyyylauren ciao xx

Review! on the Virgin coconut oil by Cape tranto

Hey everyone! Sooo I've been reviewing a product for a week now and it's this amazing Virgin coconut oil by Cape tranto, I've tried out so many coconut oils for my skin, hair, nails to help as coconut oil is very good for you! But this one I have seen result with.

My hair looks a lot shinier and smoother as I have very long hair and gets very knotty , this is great to apply on wet hair before you dry as it helps to de-tangle while you brush your hair as brushing can damage the hair giving you split ends, I've also had a lot of compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looks! Which is nice to hear.

For my skin now this has really surprised me I suffer sometimes from bad breakouts and they drive me crazy! so the other day i had a few on my chin and thought I'd put abit of the oil onto the breakouts ,Next morning I woke up and they had gone down so much! I was shocked myself!
Coconut has a vitamin E in it so it's very good for regenerating and improving skin conditions so this would be perfect as a makeup cleanser aswell!

What coconut oil can be used for/benefits:
Great sunscreen protection
Vitamin E
Anti ageing
Proteins to help cellular renewal of the skin
Skin disorders such as acne , eczema , psoriasis
Nail growth
Hair growth/repair
And much more the list could go on

I defiantly recommend trying this out you can purchase on the website below this oil is such a good price for £10.00 you get a big pot which will last you months!
www.capetranto.com

Hope you liked my review and will check them out you won't be disappointed by the results you see!

Smashbox!

Hey everyone sorry I've missed a few days work life has been a busy one! Hopefully you all can forgive ha... Anyways now for this amazing primer I've been testing out for a week or so which is the smashbox photo finish oil free primer and on my is this stuff just brilliant!

If you like myself have an oily skin and can find it hard to keep your makeup looking good all day this primer is the one! It's brilliant for those oily T-zone areas.

Now I've found this I don't need to worry about sliding makeup or oiliness make sure you shake the bottle well and squeeze out a pea size as a little goes along way because this isn't cheap! Then what i do is a pop abit on each section of the face and rub it in as it absorbs straight away then you can carry on with putting on your everyday makeup it's as simple as that and your makeup looks flawless all day!

As you can see from my last photo my makeup looks flawless, fresh and healthy looking... So if you can get your hands on this I recommend you try it you won't be disappointed, I purchased mine from the beauty box in Bicester village it's only a 12ml and was £8.00 very pricey but I wanted to try it before I bought the big one so look on the smash box website at www.smashbox.co.uk

Hope you enjoyed this post mores on its way next up is my review on the coconut Virgin oil from cape Trento! Stay tuned! Follow my Instagram on Laurenpearceyyy or Twitter on @pearceyyylauren
