Lagoon's 4 steps to cleansing the skin!

Hey everyone today's post is all about  lagoon in the carita's ideal range which lets just say are the affordable ranges!

Lagoon hydration is the perfect range for skins that are lacking hydration, radiance and moisture helping to revitalise and make the skin look fresh again!

There are four ranges in ideal:
Ideal cotton - oily/sensitive skin
Ideal hydration- dry/combination skin
Ideal powder - oily skin
Ideal white - pigmentation , dark spots

This range is priced from £30-70 pounds
Which is very good considering the scientific ingredients put into the products producing a brilliant range to get deep into them epidermis layers of the skin!

This quick four step cleansing routine is quick and easy especially if you never have time you will with this!

1st step is the lagoon gelee this is a gel cleanser with mini microbeads that disperse as you massage cleanser  into the skin leaving your skin feeling fresh just wash off using warm water using cotton pads.

2nd step is lagoon water this is a toner you must always tone your skin as this rebalances your PH level in the skin. Never leave this part out its very important just pour some toner onto a dry cotton pad and wipe all over it only takes 2 seconds it's as quick as that so no need to miss it out of your daily routine.

3rd step lagoon serum it's so important to use a serum it's like a vitamin for the skin strengthening the skin cells and allowing the active ingredient in the serum to penetrating deeper into the skin as moisturiser can't do that, use 3 pumps and massage over skin gently but quick you can also use this as a primer!

Lastly the 4th step Lagoon moisturiser this step is also as important as step 3 but helping the skin feel hydrated and nourished a moisturise tends to sit a lot more on the skin than a serum so this is perfect for a protectant layer on the skin , making it a perfect base for makeup!

You can purchase these products from

Perfect evening pamper bits!

Hey everyone! I know it's been a few days since I posted been very busy with work as you know I try and juggle both this and work! Anyways the other day I asked the girls at work in the shop if I could borrow some products to give myself a pamper as I felt like I needed totreat myself  as I treat other people for a living. So they gave me a few bits from  Elemis and carita to take home and use , and I thought this would be a perfect post as  I found these products amazing for a pamper night in for yourself.

As you can see from the picture I tried the Elemis tri - enzyme resurfacing face mask , this mask felt amazing it gave a tingly sensation which meant it was working into the skin , I applied using my hands all over and left on for about 8 minutes before showering off , after my skin felt so cooling and fresh i definitely would purchase this felt like I had just came out of a facial treatment perfect for all skin types.

I found this from www.JohnLewis.co.uk retailing at £49.00 for a 50ml

Next I used the Elemis body salt glow in a frangipani scent , this scrub was possibly the best scrub I've used so far , it felt amazing as soon as the scrub touched my skin it melted into it leaving my skin feeling so soft and moisturised and residue free! Defiantly worth another purchase very impressed , make sure when you do a body scrub that you first apply it to dry skin as you'll get a better result then wash off in the shower it's as simple as that and you feel fully pampered after.

Found on www.feelunique.co.uk for £36.50

Lastly I used these fab carita products for anyone that hasn't heard about carita it's a very exclusive brand specialised for anti ageing with its scientific formulation , any age group can use this starting from early 20s to mid 50s as there are specific ranges for different skin types!

I use the ideal control range to balance out my oily skin so every morning and night I apply this powder cleanser with powder inside to help mattify the skin for a less shiny look , lastly is the progressif wrinkle filler yes I know I'm only 22 but they say you should start Younge it's better to help prevent so start younge , this filler pen is great you can use it 4 times a day on top or under makeup , to help boost the eye area making it look more plump and less visible lines appearing this fills them out, giving you the perfect Botox look you've ever had and alot cheaper.

You can purchase from www.feelunique.co.uk
Powder cleanser: £28.80
Wrinkle filler: £58.50

Hope you liked this post on my perfect pamper items! Stay tuned for my next post soon follow my link in my side bar to  follow my daily updates! Thanks ciao x

Bobbi brown foundation update!

Hey everyone sorry iv missed a few posts this week been so busy as per usual I can't complain! Anyways... I thought I'd update you on my foundation I've recently purchased, as you all know from reading my blog I have oily skin and find it a nightmare to find a foundation that actually works so as I've never tried bobbi brown before I thought I'd give them ago! So I went to the makeup counter and asked what would suit me as a oily skin type and the lovely girl said the compact foundation is great and is sweat/humidity proof, I gave it ago for a couple of days and didn't really get along with it I was still getting oily and I did find it abit thick ,  it felt as if I had a mask on which I didn't like! I think if you had a combination skin type this would Work fine for you and if you like heavy coverage then I'd say defiantly try this! But for an very oily skin type id stay away. The price of this one was £33.00 from John Lewis

I went back to John Lewis to the bobbi brown counter and I'm now going to try this one which is a lighter formula so maybe will work Better for me I'm off to London tomorro so we shall see if I get oily at all. The lady who helped me was very good and matched my skin perfectly , made me feel much better about my skin nicest thing was that if this one doesn't work out for me I can swap for a different one I will then opt for a powder foundation instead but fingers crossed this works out! This one was a little cheaper at £31.00

If your like me and have a nightmare finding foundations for oily skins comment below and tell me what brand you would use , Or think would be great id love to hear from you. Follow me on Instagram at Laurenpearceyyy or my Twitter @pearceyyylauren ciao xx

Review! on the Virgin coconut oil by Cape tranto

Hey everyone! Sooo I've been reviewing a product for a week now and it's this amazing Virgin coconut oil by Cape tranto, I've tried out so many coconut oils for my skin, hair, nails to help as coconut oil is very good for you! But this one I have seen result with.

My hair looks a lot shinier and smoother as I have very long hair and gets very knotty , this is great to apply on wet hair before you dry as it helps to de-tangle while you brush your hair as brushing can damage the hair giving you split ends, I've also had a lot of compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looks! Which is nice to hear.

For my skin now this has really surprised me I suffer sometimes from bad breakouts and they drive me crazy! so the other day i had a few on my chin and thought I'd put abit of the oil onto the breakouts ,Next morning I woke up and they had gone down so much! I was shocked myself!
Coconut has a vitamin E in it so it's very good for regenerating and improving skin conditions so this would be perfect as a makeup cleanser aswell!

What coconut oil can be used for/benefits:
Great sunscreen protection
Vitamin E
Anti ageing
Proteins to help cellular renewal of the skin
Skin disorders such as acne , eczema , psoriasis
Nail growth
Hair growth/repair
And much more the list could go on

I defiantly recommend trying this out you can purchase on the website below this oil is such a good price for £10.00 you get a big pot which will last you months!
www.capetranto.com

Hope you liked my review and will check them out you won't be disappointed by the results you see!

Smashbox!

Hey everyone sorry I've missed a few days work life has been a busy one! Hopefully you all can forgive ha... Anyways now for this amazing primer I've been testing out for a week or so which is the smashbox photo finish oil free primer and on my is this stuff just brilliant!

If you like myself have an oily skin and can find it hard to keep your makeup looking good all day this primer is the one! It's brilliant for those oily T-zone areas.

Now I've found this I don't need to worry about sliding makeup or oiliness make sure you shake the bottle well and squeeze out a pea size as a little goes along way because this isn't cheap! Then what i do is a pop abit on each section of the face and rub it in as it absorbs straight away then you can carry on with putting on your everyday makeup it's as simple as that and your makeup looks flawless all day!

As you can see from my last photo my makeup looks flawless, fresh and healthy looking... So if you can get your hands on this I recommend you try it you won't be disappointed, I purchased mine from the beauty box in Bicester village it's only a 12ml and was £8.00 very pricey but I wanted to try it before I bought the big one so look on the smash box website at www.smashbox.co.uk

Hope you enjoyed this post mores on its way next up is my review on the coconut Virgin oil from cape Trento! Stay tuned! Follow my Instagram on Laurenpearceyyy or Twitter on @pearceyyylauren
