Fragrance of the month!

My favourite perfume this month is black opium by yvessaint laurent! I smelt this before when i went into john lewis looking at the ysl makeup stand and the lady sprayed some on me and i loved it! So i had to go back in and buy it. Luckily on the day i went back they had a 10% discount so i bought the gift set that had a handbag size and the 50ml for £38.00 bargain!

The scents to this perfume are: coffee, pink pepper, vanilla, jasmine ,orange blossom, cedar and patchouli.
This scent is beautiful smells musky with a hint of sweetness but not to much sweet because if your like me i dont get on well with sweet/fruity perfumes, can end up feeling queazy not good if you got to wear it all day so i highly recommend this perfume seeing as christmas is coming up defiently a must have present!

I purchased from johnlewis but you can pick this up pretty much anywhere like boots , house of fraser ,debenhams or ysl online website check it out

Hope you enjoyed my post and decide to go in and have a smell!

Ciao for now lauren x

Urban decay must have!

This powder by urban decay is just amazing! Perfect for mattifying the skin all day especially if you have an oily skin!

I work as a beauty therapist and this helps me so much specially when im in a hot treatment room giving treatments all day. I like the fact its a non coloured powder so you can put as much as you like on without looking cakey, and can still put bronzer on top if you want to add colour to your face.

I purchased this from house of fraser for £20.00 which i think is a good price for a powder! Defiently have a look if this intrests you , you wont be dissapointed i hope you liked this blog post for regular updates visit my instagram @laurenpearceyyy

my winter lippy favourite!

This beautiful lipstick by estee lauder has got to be one of my favourites! and will carry on being throughout the winter.
The formula is amazing it stays on all day so you can drink and eat and it will not budge,  i also love how its a gloss formula to so it acts as a lipgloss aswell as a lipstick! which is great for moisturising your lips throughout winter!

I picked this colour which is tumultuous pink ive never been one for bright/dark colours but since buying this ive worn it pretty much everyday and think it suits my skintone and hair colour,  now i always make sure when buying a lipstick or gloss i dont just stick to pale colours and add abit of brightness.

The only thing to make sure is to apply with a lip brush as it will give you a neater line without getting to messy as it is budge proof if you get it out your lipline!

i purchased mine from house of fraser so if you have one near you go in and have a look!
www.houseoffraser.co.uk
price: £24.00

if you liked this blog please follow and follow my links in my side bar which link to my instagram page as im always uploading on it! hope you liked this blog and will check my favourite lippy out!

ciao for now xx

My favourite face makeup this month!

This BB cream is just amazing i only came across this the other day while sorting my makeup draws out and came across a sample.

So i thought i may aswell try it out and seeing as i was going to work seemed a good idea to see if this would last all day on a oily skin type like mine, which it did it lasted so well i was surprised and the coverage is really good to.

Would defiently cover acne scarring without a doubt and seeing as this is a BB cream it would be much lighter and more natural to wearing a full face of foundation! This does exactly the same! But doesnt feel thick at all!

Id recommend for all skin types! Wether your oily, dry or even sensitive this doesnt irritate the skin either and keeps the skin looking shine free! Im defiently a fan of this and will carry on buying my must have this month!

Price £6.99 i purchased mine from superdrug but you would be able to get in most drug stores or big shops

I hope you found this blog post useful! And persuaded you to all go try it yourself you wont be disappointed! Head over to my instagram in the links below and follow for daily updates by me!

My first MAC purchase!!!

Soo exciting to show my first mac purchase off!! And well i thought getting back into my blogging would be a good start with this cheeky product!

So ive always been a little obsessed looking at mac products online and well i took a trip to westfields in london the otherday and the first shop i went to well lets take a guess.....

MAC! And out of all the amazing products in their i thought id choose something i really needed to start so i chose to purchase the mineralize skin finish in medium dark. I chose this colour as i do have a olive skin tone and well as im going on holiday il be tanned so thought this would be perfect for just dusting over the face at night for a more bronzed finish. I have been wearing this lately and even for my long 8 hour shifts at work and i do hate to say i have the worlds oiliest skin!. This is fab for keeping that shine away For hours on end overall this product is just fab and cant wait to carry on wearing it!!.

Hope you all liked my first august blog getting back into slowly just very busy but shall find time.

My favourite primers cheap to expensive

Hello lovelies sorry about the lack of blogs lately ive been very busy with work and some issues but i shall be getting on top of things and back to posting every day to every other!

So to get back on track thought id show you my favourite primers which go from cheap to expensive!

To start with are my cheap drug store primers.....  which are by the brand MUA (makeup academy)  starting with the first one in my picture is my eyeshadow primer this is a great base for eyeshadows or even a base to cover the redness on the eyelids. I dont wear alot of eyeshadow but on a night out i use this with my eyeshadow and it will stay creaseless for ages! Id recommend trying this if you dont like spending to much money.
For my face primers i have the fixing mist and the matte perfect primer these again are great if you dont want to spend alot of money but get a decent product that works! So after i use the matte perfect primer which is great for a oily skin like mine i apply my foundation and then spritz a little bit of the face mist over my face just to help set everything this helps make my face powder look less cloggy aswell!

I really like the MUA range as its so affordable and your getting a decent product which is a bonus so id defiantly   recommend trying this range especially as its good for a oily skin type you can get  in your nearest superdrug stores.

Next is the more exspensive primers which are both good for oily skin types....

Firstly is the prime time oil control primer by bareminerals this is costly but works really well specially with foundation i have a very oily t-zone and this helps to soak up excess oil and leaves a clear weightless feel on the skin to give my foundation a smooth matte finish this is the perfect primer for if you have a oily skin type id defiantly be repurchasing this again.

Lastly is the pores no more pore refiner by dr brandt this primer is amazing and is one of my top primers even though its pricey its worth every penny. This primer comes out orange but blends in clear leaving the whole face looking shine free  helping to smooth out any scarring you may have so when you apply your foundation your face looks flawless with a airbrushed finish.

If you cant afford spending out on this primer the MUA matte perfect is the best dupe ive come across as you can see on the left is matte perfect and on the right is pores no more very similar in feel and colour and is alot cheaper!

Prices...
MUA
Eye primer £1.50
Matte perfect £4.00
Fixing mist £5.00
Bareminerals prime time £18.90
Dr brandt pore refiner £39.00

6. Garnier moisture match moisturiser for oily skin and the antiac activ acne spray are both good and can be used together I always use the moisturiser first then spritz abit of the spray on to my hand and then apply to my problem area I defiantly recommend trying both of these if you have oily skin like myself these work wonders I purchased the moisturizer from asda for £2.00 and the antiac spray from www.feelunique.com in the sale for £7.99  price now 50ml is £9.99 and 100ml us £14.99.

New hair before and after using garnier nutrisse!

Hey everyone i am sorry for the lack of blogs over then weekend I have been busy testing products to review and also buying bits and bobs to show you  but I'm back on track now! So I thought I'd start by telling you about my hair dye experience...

So the other day I bought a hair dye as I wanted to go darker as my hair is a light brown as you can see in the picture to the left and thought I'd like a change and go a little darker and I'm loving it this kit was so easy to use and cheap. I got my mum to do it as I can no way dye my own hair without making a absolute mess of it. In the kit you get a pair of gloves, hair colourant,  conditioner, bottle pump and of course instructions! With this kit you apply the colourant to dry hair to the whole of the head starting from the top and work your way down if you have very long hair I'd advise buying two boxes of this as one wasn't really enough for mine. I like the fact this wasn't very messy at all as it come out the bottle as foam instead of messy liquid I got the colour in dark brown as I didn't want a colour with a red tinge. It's only takes half hour and you can rinse it off make sure you apply the conditioner after as colouring your hair can make it feel abit dry.

Price: £5.99

NARS sheer glow dupe!

Hey lovely people.... I found a dupe of one of my favourite foundations which is the nars sheer glow foundation I love this but not the price tag specially as I use foundation everyday for the job I'm in as I'm a beauty therapist so I get through bottles very quickly and can get very pricey.

So i went out shopping the other day in my favourite shop superdrug and was looking at foundations for ages and Came across this one by l'oreal infallible 24H which is defiantly a dupe for nars sheer glow. I struggle to find foundations for my oily skin but After using this for a few days I noticed that the texture and feel of this foundation on the skin looked amazing and didnt leave me shiny just a healthy glow,  both of these foundation would be suitable for all skin types and they both have very buildable coverage to I find just one layer with a brush is fine on my skin but if you wanted full coverage it would do it perfectly. The colour range is very close to the nars colours apart from the colour I got as I'm tanned at the moment so went darker but to the left is nars and to the right is infallible not to much of a big difference. I highly recommend trying my dupe if the nars is out your price range.

Colour;
colour of the nars is in light4
colour of l'oreal infallible is in 140 golden beige

Prices;
Nars price; £31.00
L'oreal price; £9.99

Where to purchase;

Hope you liked this post and try my dupe you won't be disappointed or if you know of any other dupes for pricey foundations let me know in the comments below remember to follow my twitter, Instagram and bloglovin for all updates.

Nuxe glitter oil!

Nuxe multi purpose dry oil with a shimmer is for the face, body or hair this stuff is amazing I only use it for special occasions or nights out but this leaves you looking all shimmery with a golden glow as you can tell from the picture below once rubbed into the skin it only leaves a subtle shimmer. The places I put this are mainly through my hair or on my chest area as to much will make you look like a walking disco ball and we dont want that! This tiny bottle doesn't come cheap though for 50ml it is £21.00 you can get this same oil without the shimmer but I thought the shimmer seemed the better one to get! I'd defiantly recommend to buy if your into your shimmer was worth the money you can purchase this from
www.nuxe.com 50ml £21.00 100ml £34.00
www.marksandspencers.com 50ml £21.00 100ml £42.00

My morning skin care routine...

Hey everyone thought I'd put a second post up as I didn't post yesterday due to being busy very sorry... But anyways this is about my morning skincare routine I shall do a night routine in a separate blog!

Let's get started so to begin with I shower every morning which every person does! I hope..
So while I let my hair air dry for a bit I go into the bathroom and
proceed with my morning routine for my skin.

My 5 step morning skin routine...

firstly after I do a daily face scrub in the shower  I cleanse my face with my garnier micellar cleansing water I pour a bit onto two cotton pads
and wipe all over my face throughly making sure there is no dirt left on my skin once I'm satisfied that my skin is squeaky clean I then move onto my second step.

Secondly I do a eye cleanse using my l'oreal eye makeup remover I don't know why I use a eye cleanser as well seeing as my first cleanser removes eye makeup but I like to make sure there's nothing left on my eyelashes so I do exactly the same as my first cleanser and pour a bit
onto two cotton pads and wipe over my eyelashes.

Thirdly I apply my garnier moisture match mattifying fresh face cream all over the face in upward strokes. I might add I pick this up the other day as I was looking for a new moisturiser for oily skin and I'm loving it it's a light whipped cream that feels fresh and mattifying on the skin and does absorb my oiliness very well this creams suitable for oily to combo skin and I defiantly recommend it!

Fourthly I then apply my snake venom eye cream by balance active formula under my eyes to help make them look less puffy in the morning and of course to stop those wrinkles appearing I gently tap this on starting from the inner to
the outer corner.

And lastly once I've done everything I then apply my bareminerals prime time oil control primer all over my face to create a smooth oil free base for my makeup to sit on especially foundation.

I hope you liked this blog and if you would like to know more about any of the products mentioned comment below and I can give answers or even review for you make sure to follow me on bloglovin, Instagram or Twitter links are in the side bar x

Garnier cleansing water - superdrug
L'oreal eye makeup remover - Asda / super drug
Garnier mattifying moisturiser- Asda/ super drug
Eye cream - pound savers
Prime time primer- John Lewis

My haircare favourite shampoo and conditioner!

So i thought i would share with you my current shampoo and conditioner i am using this month!

For my shampoo i am currently using phil smith WOW brunette colour illuminating shampoo. For the glossy glowing colour it has black tea extract this can be used for  natural, coloured or highlighted hair which is good! So you dont have to have dyed hair to use this. The reason i got
this was for the lovely scent it has to it and also foams up really well in my hair as my hair is quite thick and very long. I find some shampoos dont foam up very well in my hair but this one does the job i havent noticed a colour change but have noticed it does leave me hair very shiny which is good leaving it looking very healthy so if you have long, thickish hair id recommend to try this.
They do this shampoo in a blonde aswell which is called bombshell where to purchase...
www.sainsburys.co.uk price £2.33

For my conditioner i am using argan oil ive been using this for a week now and really like it ive only been putting it on my ends not all over my hair as conditioners can make your hair look greasy and we dont want that. It has moroccan argan oil extracts to rejuvenate and rehydrate the hair leaving the hair looking healthy and alot more shinier. You can leave this in the hair for 3-5 mins as a mask or rinse straight out im loving the scent too leaves your hair
smelling lovely.

I purchased this bargin from poundsavers believe it or not for a price of.... £1.00 I defiantly   recommend going into one near you and purchasing!

Hope you liked this post if so follow me on bloglovin , Instagram or twitter much appreciated or leave comments down below see you in my next post x

Leighton Denny review!

I got the amazing polish in my birchbox the other day and got really excited when I saw it was in there I really love this colour is very classy and safisticated. It's a everyday wearable colour that's not in your face but catches attention.

The brush is a perfect size and glides on smoothly with a second coat it looks just as good as gel , make sure you prep the nail with good base coat and finish with a top coat for a long lasting finish that stays immaculate for days I still have this on my nails now and hasn't chipped just yet!

The colour is leading lady

MAC frost lipstick!

MAC frost lipstick I love the formula of this lipstick it glides on smoothly onto the lips leaving a nice finish and lasts for a long time too.

I don't normally wear brown colours I'm more a pink lover of lipsticks but I thought I'd be daring and go for a different colour which I have actually grown to like.

This colour would be great for any type or makeup look defiantly a bronzed goddess look with the shimmering effect this lipstick has. I think if your a bit of a pink lover like myself and not daring enough to go for a dark red maybe try a brown and see how you get on as it's not such a dramatic change I'm still trying to find a perfect red for myself so if you know of any red lipsticks or glosses comment below that would be perfect for a brunette like me.

MAC frost price £15.00

Purchased at www.debenhams.co.uk

Must have shadow for a natural eye...

Loving this Laura mercier eyeshadow in twinkling star this is my favourite at the moment I'm not a big one for eyeshadows but subtle colours like this are great for me.

The colour goes on nicely make sure you use a eye primer for a smooth finish it's a very flakey shadow so all you need to do it press the brush into it and press onto the eyelid gently for a sparkly natural eye.

I purchased this from the space nk shop or you can check out there website on www.spacenk.co.uk the shadow was £19.00 pricey but worth it.

Hope you liked this comment if you know of any cheaper brands similar to this colour would love to know :) x

My bargain find this month...

My bargain find this month is my pretty flower cup from primark when I saw this on the stand I had to get it.

I bring this with me everywhere now especially to work before I set off In the morning I make a cup of tea and bring this with me on my long journey to work.

It's very well made doesn't leak at all and is very easy to clean the lid screws on and off making your drink stay in secure and for a bargain price of £2.50 it's worth the purchase Defiantly a must have.

gosh magic eyelash serum/mascara!

I went shopping yesterday in superdrug looking around for a new mascara and came across the gosh stand and saw they had a eyelash growth serum and a growth mascara.
I thought I have to try this, so I'm trying them out and it takes about two weeks to notice I not long ago had individual eyelashes in which some of my own eyelashes fell out.
I put the gosh growth serum on morning and night and I've noticed a few of my shorter lashes look a little longer!

I've been using the mascara and I really like the brush  it makes my eyelashes look a lot longer and you can really get into the corners where you can't normally get to your little lashes I'm still testing this
out but from using it the second time I'm really liking this mascara it
doesnt irritate my eyes either as I have very sensitive eyes which is  a plus side I would defiantly recommend this.

Both these products are from superdrug in a offer for 2 for £10.00 bargain!.  I'm still testing the serum and the mascara but will update you on how my eyelashes look in 2 weeks with a updated picture.

Below is a picture of what my eyelashes look like now hope this helped and makes you want to try it! Email or leave comments below and il be happy to talk x

My favourite drink this month is....

This month my favourite drink is chai latte I am addicted to this at the moment if you haven't yet tried it I would defiantly go and buy some or even go to your nearest costa or Starbucks.

It taste so delicious with its blend of green tea and spices smells like a cinnamon swirl to, I went onto drinking this as I'm abit of a tea lover and thought maybe I should cut down on the caffeine as this is 99% caffeine free , you can either have this with milk or water and both taste just as good it's quick and easy to make and you feel a lot healthier after you drink a cup of this deliciousness.

You can purchases this from waitrose im not to sure on any other stores but it's not expensive either for a pot of this is about £3.00

Write on the comments if you like chai latte and if there are any other teas you recommend I'd love to try new ones!

My hair care collection....

These are my current hair products that im using either everyday or every other. So for dry shampoo i use the brand fat hair this is brilliant for my working days when i have to rush out the door, leaves my hair looking as if ive washed it you have to shake the can pretty well or it will leave a white mark but it wont if you shake it before use!

Moving onto heat protectant and hair serums i am currently using VO5 for my protectant, this is great just sprizt it all over the hair brush through and it does the job leaving my hair smelling delicious and bouncy. For the serums im using redken or VO5 my redken which ive been using forever this product lasts ages for the price i only put this on my ends as serums can make your hair greasy but it really helps with split ends and frizz.

For my hair spray and hair treatment i use the tresemme freeze hold and got 2 b oil-liciouse.
The hair spray does exactly what it says on the can it holds styles really well specially as i wear a quiff alot and its not to pricey either.
For my hair treatment the oil-liciouse is really good for spritzing all over leaving my hair looking shiny and soft and not greasy looking at all.

Big fat hair: superdrug
Got 2 b oil-liciouse: superdrug
VO5: both superdrug
Redken: harringtons hair salon
Tresemme:boots or superdrug

Hope this helped and made you want to try some of these
